Registration is now open for the 3^rd Educators for Climate Justice and Just Transition Conference, which will be held in Kathmandu, Nepal from 28 to 30 April 2025. The three-day conference aims to enhance capacities, build solidarity and identify key opportunities to engage and advance the climate justice and just transition agenda within the education sector in the South Asia sub-region and beyond.

On 01 May 2025, EIAP and its affiliates will join fellow workers and educators at the May Day march in calling for higher public investment in education and teachers. From 02 to 03 May 2025,  the Go Public! Fund Education campaign will bring together SAARC member organizations for a strategic meeting to discuss critical issues regarding teachers’ working conditions, leverage the UN High-level recommendations and explore ways to strengthen sub-regional and national advocacy. SAARC organizations are cordially invited to attend these important events. Kindly bear in mind that each organization can register up to 4 participants and that 50% of participants must be women, members of the LGBTQI community or youth below 35-years old.
